Pre-launch note. Kiyomi is currently a pre-launch project and is not yet operated through a registered company. Until a business is established and this policy is updated, the individual operating the Kiyomi project is the controller of personal data collected through this website.

1. Who controls your data?

The controller of personal data collected through this website is the individual operating the Kiyomi project (“Kiyomi”, “we”, “us”). For privacy matters, contact: hello@kiyomi.pl.

Before actively promoting the waitlist, complete the controller contact details in this section. When Kiyomi begins operating through a registered business or company, this policy should be updated accordingly.

2. What data do we collect?

When you join the Kiyomi waiting list, we collect the email address you provide and a record of the consent submitted with the form. Our hosting provider may also process technical data generated when you visit or submit the website, such as IP address, browser/device information and request logs.

3. Why do we use your data?

We use your email address to manage the Kiyomi waiting list and, where you have consented, to send information about the Kiyomi launch, products and offers. The legal basis for consent-based communications is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4. Is providing your data required?

Providing your email address and consent is voluntary. You do not have to join the waiting list. Without an email address, we cannot send you waitlist or launch communications.

5. How long do we keep your data?

For consent-based communications, we keep your data until you withdraw consent, unsubscribe, or the relevant purpose ends, unless applicable law requires particular information to be retained longer. We may retain limited evidence of consent where necessary to demonstrate compliance.

6. Who may receive your data?

We use service providers necessary to operate the website and waiting list. The website is currently hosted using Netlify, which may process form submissions and related technical data on our behalf. If an email/newsletter platform is introduced, this policy should be updated to reflect that processing.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards required by data-protection law will be used, as relevant to the provider and processing.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO) in Poland.

9. How to withdraw consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting hello@kiyomi.pl. When an email delivery service is introduced, marketing messages should also include an appropriate unsubscribe mechanism.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

This landing page does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies in its current version. Essential hosting/security technologies may still be used to deliver the website. If analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential cookies are introduced, this notice and the website’s consent setup should be updated before they are used where consent is required.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Kiyomi project develops, including when a registered business is established, service providers change, or processing purposes change. The current version will be published here.
